Combat Outpost Ouellette, Helmand province, Afghanistan, is placed on a plateau where the Marines and sailors of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, can watch out over different areas of terrain. Afghan Uniformed Police recruits participate in a practice match during the baton defensive techniques portion of their course at the Joint Security Academy Southwest on Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, April 20.
