Mission Statement
The 8th Communication Battalion will establish, maintain, and defend communication networks simultaneously for MAGTF Command Elements (CE), Marine Component Headquarters (MCHQ), and/or Combined and Joint Task Force (JTF) Headquarters in order to facilitate II Marine Expeditionary Force’s ability to command and control forces.

U.S. Army Maj. Gen. John H.
