Approximately 350 participants begin the third annual Sergeant Lucas T. Pyeatt “Run to Remember” aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, August 9. Marines, sailors, family and friends of 2nd Radio Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, completed a five-kilometer memorial run to honor Pyeatt and all other Marines killed-in-action during Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. Pyeatt was killed-in-action during a deployment to Afghanistan, Feb. 5, 2011.
