Joe Singer, a military working dog handler with Military Police Support Company, II Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, performs explosive detection training with his dog, Lubus, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 9, 2010. The purpose of the training is to keep both the Marines and their dogs ready for detecting explosives such as improvised explosive devices and caches while in the battlefield.
