Omar Barroso, a mountain warfare instructor at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., instructs Marines on the elements of a proper survival shelter Oct. 11, 2014. CLB-6 teamed up with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division for the monthlong Summer Mountain Warfare Exercise, where they were taught survival skills in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
