A U.S. Naval Academy Student participates in an endurance course on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 8, 2025. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) partners with the U.S. Naval Academy to optimize the future force with the annual Professional Training of Midshipmen (PROTRAMID) and Career Orientation and Training of Midshipmen (CORTRAMID) program. The PROTRAMID and CORTRAMID immerses midshipmen in multiple facets of rigorous training all Marines endure. Most of these Midshipmen will soon be Junior Officers in U.S. Marines, or the U.S. Navy, depending on their service designation. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Victoria Hutt)
