Marines with II MEF AAOG remained in Norway after the conclusion of Exercise Nordic Response 24 to repair, inspect and manage the return of II MEF and Marine Corps Pre-Positioning Program – Norway (MCPP-N), vehicles and equipment for future use. MCPP-N uses climate-controlled caves across Norway to store munitions to support a Marine Expeditionary Brigade for up to 30 days, and ground equipment to support a Marine Air Ground Task Force built around an infantry battalion task force, combat logistics battalion, and composite aviation squadron.
