U.S. Marines with Arrival and Assembly Operations Group (AAOG), II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), offload equipment and vehicles used during Nordic Response 24 from the Samskip Kvitbjorn, a Norwegian cargo ship, at Hammarnesodden Port, Norway, March 31, 2024. Marines with II MEF AAOG remained in Norway after the conclusion of Exercise Nordic Response 24 to repair, inspect and manage the return of vehicles and equipment for future use. Nordic Response is a Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise designed to enhance military capabilities and allied cooperation in high-intensity warfighting in a challenging arctic environment.
