U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and U.S. Marine Corps Air Station New River welcomed Norwegian Ambassador Kåre R. Aas, Norwegian Army Lt. Col. Per-Erik Bjøernstadbråten, Norwegian Defense Attaché Rear Adm. Ole M. Sandquist, and Norwegian Military Attaché and Assistant Defense Attaché Colonel Magne Rodahl during their visit to the base and its air wing.U.S. Marines have been forward deployed on a rotational basis to Norway, strengthening the bonds by working hand-in-hand with the Norwegian military.
