Marines with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment conducted a patrol base exercise in wooded terrain at a training site aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Jan 22. Marines patrolled the surrounding areas and honed their skills in tactics and reconnaissance while performing combat maneuvers and security protocol throughout the duration of the training. Produced by Lance Cpl. David N. Hersey. Includes soundbites from Sgt. Timothy J.
