Cpl. Kenneth Benton, a Greensboro, N.C., native and technical controller with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, Regional Command (Southwest), describes his experiences as a first-time gunner serving in Helmand province, Afghanistan, July 25. Benton assisted in the resupply of several forward operating bases supporting Marines in the province.
