An Afghan National Army soldier with 215th Corps instructs his fellow soldiers on indicators of improvised explosive devices at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, July 13, 2017. Approximately 70 engineer soldiers with various units from the 215th Corps began a route clearance course July 8 with assistance from U.S. Marine advisors assigned to Task Force Southwest. The eight-week course is designed to bolster the soldiers’ route clearance capabilities to help promote maneuverability amongst infantry kandaks and supplies in Helmand Province.
