II MIG COMMSTRAT supports the MAGTF commander through informing domestic and international audiences, conducting information environment battlespace awareness, providing task-organized COMMSTRAT capabilities in order to enhance the MAGTF’s ability to maneuver in a complex and contested operating environment.

U.S. Marine Corps Col. Koichi Takagi relinquishes command of II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group to Col. Ian Fletcher, during a change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 11, 2024.
