Mission

II MIG COMMSTRAT supports the MAGTF commander through informing domestic and international audiences, conducting information environment battlespace awareness, providing task-organized COMMSTRAT capabilities in order to enhance the MAGTF’s ability to maneuver in a complex and contested operating environment.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO), II MEF Information Group, participate in Defender Europe, in Kazlų Rūda, Lithuania, May 9 - 20 , 2022. 2nd ANGLICO provides a liaison capability to joint operations alongside NATO allies by educating ground forces on Marine Air-Ground Task Force fires and air support.
