Mission Statement:

Second Air-Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (2nd ANGLICO) provides Marine Air Ground Task Force Commanders a liaison capability with foreign area expertise to plan, coordinate, employ and conduct terminal control of fires in support of joint, allied and coalition forces.


What We Do

Our teams provide direct support to the various Joint, Allied, Coalition and Special Operations forces working within the Marine Corps' battlespace and conduct the coordination and deconfliction required for their commanders to access Marine Corps close air support, artillery, rockets and naval gunfire.

LtCol Kovatch is a native of South Bend, Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University. He commissioned in 2007 through the Platoon Leaders Course.

Sergeant Major Jorge A. Salgado
2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company

Sergeant Major Salgado is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) for 2d Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Sergeant Major Salgado was born on 5 January 1981 in Mexicali Baja California, Mexico.  Sergeant Major Salgado's family moved to the United States in July of 1990 and enlisted in the Marine Corps on 10 January 2000. Sergeant Major Salgado attended Recruit Training at MCRD San Diego, California. Upon completion of his basic training, Sergeant Major Salgado attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton CA. Sergeant Major Salgado received the MOS of 3521 Motor Transport Mechanic upon graduating at Camp Johnson, North Carolina in July of 2000.
