Norwegian soldiers with the Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization unload a Bandvagn 206 from the roll-on/roll-off cargo ship Britannia Seaways in Narvik, Norway, March 2, 2026. This was part of the Reception, Staging, and Onward Movement (RSOM) for exercise Cold Response 26, which is the process of rapidly assembling personnel and equipment into mission-ready forces. A key component of NATO's enhanced vigilance activity Arctic Sentry, exercise Cold Response 26 is a Norwegian-led winter military exercise designed to enhance collective defense capabilities and ensure U.S. readiness to rapidly deploy and seamlessly operate alongside NATO Allies in challenging arctic conditions.
