U.S. Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, come to a halt to allow a Tucker terra model 1600 sno-cat, assigned to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, to pass by during an acclimation hike as part of Mountain Training Exercise 1-26 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, Jan. 14, 2026. CLB-24 executed the acclimation hike to familiarize the Marines with hiking in austere terrain and high elevations. Exercises like MTX 1-26 prove Marines’ ability to provide flexible and responsive combat service support during high intensity combat operations in contested and mountainous terrain.
