A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron (HMMT) 302, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, lifts an I-beam during helicopter support team operations near Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 8, 2025. 2nd Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, conducted HST training to prepare HMMT 302, Marines to manage landing zone operations and efficiently handle the pickup, movement, and landing of helicopter-borne troops, equipment, and heavy loads in combat scenarios.
