U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Natalie Nuckolls, right, an assitant dental officer with 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, is congratulated by U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Maura M. Hennigan, commanding general, 2nd MLG for being selected as the 2025 Liz Blanc Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victims Advocate of the Year at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, May 19, 2025. Each year, the Department of Defense recognizes individuals from each military service who are selected as the Exceptional Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for their branch. Nuckolls was selected due to her renovation of the Combat Logistics Battalion 8, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd MLG, SAPR Program, where she established a quick response code for SAPR resources and a memorandum of understanding within the regiment, ensuring consistent SAPR operations and protocols that positively impacted all units within 2nd MLG.
