U.S. Marines with Maritime Special Purpose Force, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, take off in an AH-1Z Viper with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263, (Reinforced), 22nd MEU while conducting Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) training, on Fort Eustis, Virginia, April 21, 2025. Led by II Marine Expeditionary Force Expeditionary Operations Training Group, the VBSS training sharpened the 22nd MEU's edge in vessel boarding and maritime interdiction, enhancing their readiness and lethality in preparation for future operational requirements.
