The visit showcased the capabilities of the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit as part of the IWOARG/22MEU team, illustrating the strategic importance of amphibious shipping for projecting power and rapidly responding to global crises. The delegation's visit aboard LHD 7 during Amphibious Squadron 8 (PHIBRON 8), 22nd MEU Integration (PMINT) exercise enabled dialogue between the staff members and Navy and Marine Corps personnel, deepening their understanding of the ARG/MEU's diverse mission sets and underscoring their indispensable role in achieving national security objectives.
