Instructors with Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG), II Marine Expeditionary Force discuss training objectives prior to an execution of a raid carried out by Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) at Trenton, North Carolina, April 24, 2024. The Purpose of COMPTUEX is to train and certify the 24th MEU’s Command Element (CE), Aviation Combat Element (ACE), and Ground Combat Element (GCE) and the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) as a capable Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) that can execute special skills operations along with the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).
