Pfc. Quintravious D. Russ, a motor transport operator with 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 16, 2021. “Always go out and learn, so you can protect what you’ve earned,” said Russ, an Albany, GA., native. According to his leadership, Russ has been assigned as the quality assurance and line NCO assistant, due to his high level of professionalism, work ethic and eagerness to enhance his skills within his MOS. Russ has recently completed the advance operator’s JLTV Course and AMMO course, providing more services to his platoon and the battalion. Russ continually motivates his platoon by demanding more of himself and of his fellow Marines, while also setting the example of Espirit de Corps within the battalion. Russ’s leadership is also looking at him for a potential meritorious promotion and higher billet responsibilities. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Emma Gray)
