An Afghan National Army soldier with 215th Corps applies a tourniquet to a notionally-injured soldier during casualty evacuation training at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, Aug. 14, 2017. Several ANA units practiced their CASEVAC procedures in preparation for future real-world operations. Quickening the CASEVAC process vastly improves survivability and recovery rates for wounded personnel. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Lucas Hopkins)
