Afghan National Army soldiers with 2nd Kandak, 4th Brigade, 215th Corps run toward a simulated enemy compound at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, July 2, 2017. Hundreds of soldiers with the unit graduated from an operational readiness cycle July 24, an eight-week training regimen designed to enhance the students’ warfighting capabilities. U.S. Marine advisors assigned to Task Force Southwest assisted ANA instructors throughout the course, using their experience to develop the soldiers into highly-trained infantrymen.
