Gunnery Sgt. William Abernathy, the company first sergeant for Military Police Support Comapny, II Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group supervises two Marines in loading and firing a .50 caliber Browning machine gun aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 28, 2010. Abernathy uses the stick he is leaning on to get the attention of his Marines when the sounds of the machine guns drown out his voice.
