U.S. Marines with the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, maneuver to the next checkpoint during a military operations in urban terrain training event at Naval Station Rota, Spain, Jan. 9, 2020. The purpose of MOUT is to maintain mission readiness while providing scenarios that allow Marines and Sailors to practice their combat capabilities. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
