Two accomplished sergeants major came together in a relief and appointment ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 23, 2014, exchanging the time-honored billet of sergeant major for the II Marine Expeditionary Force. Sgt. Maj. Robert VanOostrom, who served as sergeant major of 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force since March 2012, handed over the Sword of Office to Sgt. Maj. Bryan Zickefoose, the new sergeant major of II MEF. Available in high definition.

Marines with Bulk Fuel Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group conducted a live-fire exercise with the M-240 and .50-caliber machine guns at SR-8 aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 5. Marines fired at targets ranging up to 800 meters to hone proficiency with the weapon systems. Interview #1: Sgt. Christopher B. ON JULY 21, 2010, COMBAT LOGISTICS BATTALION-6, WAS CONDUCTING A ROUTINE RE-SUPPLY MISSION IN THE VICINITY OF NOW ZAD. (HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN, RESUPPLY MISSION TO 1ST MARINES, 2ND BATTALION) CLB-6 HAD TO MAKE A STOP WHEN AN ARMY ROUTE CLEARANCE VEHICLE HIT AN IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE, AND HAD TO ASSIST THEM IN GETTING BACK ON THE ROAD. AFTER HELPING THEM, THEY BEGAN TO REFUEL THEIR OWN TRUCKS WHEN ONE OF THE VEHICLES STRUCK AN I-E-D. CORPORAL RACHAEL MOORE HAD THE CHANCE TO TALK TO THE DRIVER OF THAT VEHICLE.
