Devin Bidtah, a field radio operator with Regimental Combat Team 2, speaks about his grandfather, or cheii, Leroy Johns Sr., a Navajo Code Talker and Marine private first class during the Pacific Islands Champaign of WWII. Bidtah discusses his cheii's returning home, stories and his own service today, deployed to Nimruz province, Afghanistan. Bidtah, 20, is from Shiprock, N.M. and a graduate of Shiprock High School.
