As of fiscal year 2015, Marines are required to meet bi-annual requirements to qualify in the gas chamber. Marines with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion completed their annual qualification with the M40 field protective mask aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., January 8, 2014.
