CLB-6 Completes Final Evaluation

Combat Logistics Battalion 6 participates in Certification Exercise 17.2 at Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, N.C., June 15, 2017. The training simulated a noncombatant evacuation operation which included establishing an evacuation control center; processing and aiding evacuees; and evacuating a U.S. embassy. CERTEX is one of the final training evaluations for a unit prior to being deployed. CLB-6, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group is scheduled to deploy to support on-going Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations. (Marine Corps video by Pfc. Marines vs. Zombies!

Teams of Marines and Sailors from various units aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., competed in the All Terrain Unit Competition Oct. 28, 2016. The route of the race was six miles in length, and included team challenges along the way. Some of the challenges included were a scavenger hunt, bear crawl, and canoe racing.
