U.S. Marines from II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group participated in cold weather training in the high north of Setermoen and Elvegårdsmoen, Norway from 18 February to 24 March, 2020. Marines deployed to Norway executing training in order to enhance military capabilities and allied cooperation in high intensity warfighting in a challenging arctic environment. II MIG COMMSTRAT supports the MAGTF commander through informing domestic and international audiences, conducting information environment battlespace awareness, providing task-organized COMMSTRAT capabilities in order to enhance the MAGTF’s ability to maneuver in a complex and contested operating environment.
