Brandy Bates, assigned to Female Engagement Team 11 in Marjah district, Helmand province, and a native of Ann Arbor, Mich., listens to other Marines with FET talk about their experiences so far on the deployment. The Marines assigned to the team travel to Camp Leatherneck every 45 days for reset training, before going back to the battalions they are assigned to.
