A Marine with Task Force Southwest fires an AK-47 during foreign weapons and familiarization training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 17, 2016. About 30 Marines with the unit completed the training in the event they must use a foreign weapon system while deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The Marines are scheduled to deploy as part of Task Force Southwest to train, advise and assist the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
