MISSION

Provide and coordinate combat service support, security and administrative services to the Marine Expeditionary Force Command Element (MEF CE) or Marine Expeditionary Brigade Command Element (MEB CE) and MIG HQTRS in order to sustain command and control of MAGTF operations.

Lieutenant Colonel Christopher M. Schaub

Commanding Officer, II MEF Support Battalion

Lieutenant Colonel Schaub enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in 2005 from San Diego, California. Following recruit training, he served as an Electronic Countermeasures Technician assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 41, Detachment A. While serving in the Reserve Component, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
