U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Joshua Johnson, a ground command and control operations noncommissioned officer with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa, stands at attention during the reading of his award citation at U.S. Army Garrison Panzer Kaserne, Stuttgart, Germany, Dec. 31, 2025. Johnson, a native of Wisconsin, was awarded the medal for his decisive response and lifesaving efforts after viewing a car crash on Dec. 24, 2024.
