U.S. Marines and sailors with 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, emplace a sonar buoy off the coast of Augusta, Italy, Feb. 24, 2026. The Marines and sailors emplaced the buoy during exercise Dynamic Manta 26. Dynamic Manta is a NATO lead exercise aimed to provide all participants with complex and challenging warfare training to enhance their interoperability and proficiency in anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare disciplines.
