II MEF Banner refresh

Aug 29, 2019

Sgt. Tristan Wiggin, a fixed-wing aircraft safety equipment mechanic with Marine Attack Squadron 231, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, poses for a photo at Marine Corps Cherry Point, N.C., Aug. 27, 2019. "Embrace the act of learning to satisfy your curiosity," said Wiggin, a Marshfield, Mass., native. According to his leadership, Wiggin was nominated for direct contributions to VMA-231's mission accomplishment by managing the Egress Systems Checkout and Aviation Breathing Oxygen programs, which are both critical inspection cycles resulting in zero discrepancies. He also serves as the safety equipment noncommissioned officer-in-charge for VMA-231. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Staff Sgt. William L. Holdaway)
