Afghan National Army soldiers with 6th Kandak, 1st Brigade, 215th Corps provide medical care to a notionally wounded soldier during casualty evacuation training at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, Nov. 19, 2017. Soldiers with the unit’s 2nd Toli completed the first iteration of CASEVAC training as part of the operational readiness cycle, a two-month course led by Afghan instructors at the Helmand Regional Military Training Center. U.S. advisors with train, advise, assist commands from other provinces in Afghanistan received a first-hand look at the training in order to implement standardized CASEVAC simulation to their respective ORCs.
