Brig. Gen. Daud Ghulam Tarakhel, the commanding general of the 505th Zone National Police, listens to statements and accusations during a shura with tribal elders from Helmand Province at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, Sept. 13, 2017. Brig. Gen. Tarakhel held the shura to collect statements of alleged corruption issues within a district in Helmand, and passed the statements to a counter-corruption team at the Police Provincial Headquarters in Lashkar Gah for further investigation.
