A virtual tank from the view of the Augmented Immersive Team Trainer maneuvers through the terrain at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 13, 2016. The AITT’s main purpose is to provide Marines with a realistic scenario for training. The Augmented Immersive Team Trainer is an Office of Naval Research prototype which allows Marines to insert virtual vehicles, aircraft, and simulated people in a real-world scenario.
