    MEDITERRANEAN SEA
    U.S. Marines with Low Altitude Air Defense, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC), conduct simulated counter unmanned aerial systems operations aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) while underway in the Mediterranean Sea, Oct. 24, 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and embarked 24th MEU (SOC) is conducting operations in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa area of operations on a scheduled deployment.     Two U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) fly in formation near Paphos, Cyprus, Sept. 26, 2024. The training, set to take place from September to early November, was coordinated with the Government of the Republic of Cyprus and is designed to strengthen the operational capabilities of both forces and reaffirm the strong security cooperation and commitment to regional stability between the U.S. and Cyprus.
