U.S. Marines came together with various NATO allies and partner nations for a tactical exercise during Baltic Operations 16 at Utö Island, Sweden, June 10-13, 2016. The exercise required multiple nations to conduct a combined offensive attack on a notional enemy force. This year, BALTOPS brings together 17 NATO allies and partner nations and approximately 6,100 service members in order to build relationships, counter transnational threats and bolster security and stability in the Baltic Sea region.

Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 25 conducted a Maritime Prepositioning Force Exercise Aug. 10 - Sept 9 at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Jacksonville, Fla. The exercise held once a year helps maintain unit readiness and affords service members the opportunity to learn all the procedures involving unpacking and preparing a ship full of equipment for resupply ground forces.
