A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), establish security during a Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) course at Fort Eustis, Virginia, Jan. 12, 2023. Marines with the MSPF and BLT 1/6 conducted boat assault force operations to further advance their qualifications to conduct VBSS operations during their upcoming deployment with the 26th MEU. The VBSS course is designed by Expeditionary Operations Training Group to train MSPF, BLT 1/6, and supporting enablers across the Marine Air Ground Task Force to conduct Maritime Interception Operations in preparation for the Amphibious Ready Group/Marine Expeditionary Unit (ARG/MEU) deployment.
