(211020-N-VM474-1024) ATLATIC OCEAN (Oct. 20, 2021) Landing Craft, Air Cushion 85, attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, transports Marine equipment from the shore of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is underway to support Phibron and Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration (PMINT). PMINT is an opportunity to train with embarked Marines in an integrated environment for amphibious and maritime operations including simulated beach raids, rescue operations, strait transits, and visit, board, search and seizure drills.
