An Afghan National Army soldier with 2nd Kandak, 4th Brigade, 215th Corps fires an M24 sniper rifle as a U.S. Marine with Task Force Southwest observes for impacts at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, June 19, 2017. Approximately 15 Marine advisors assisted their Afghan counterparts throughout an operational readiness cycle, an eight-week training program teaching soldiers infantry skills and weapons techniques in order to thwart enemy presence in Helmand Province.
