A U.S. Marine advisor with Task Force Southwest holds a training meeting with his Afghan National Police counterparts at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, May 15, 2017, where they discussed classes that the advisors will teach over the next few weeks. The classes will consist of the various explosive ordnance disposal techniques as well as how to properly use their EOD robot and vallon metal detectors. Task Force Southwest, comprised of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force, are training, advising and assisting the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
